Narrative

This sixth week we explored many different religions and medieval Europe. Medieval Europe .
Through the religion I learned of how the Catholic church in Rome separated . They separated basically because there were cultural , moral and power differences.  I also learned about the crusade, which is where the Christians tried to regain the holy land from the Jews and Muslims. The crusade really hurt the church one it weakend the popes power, two knight lost their lives abd fourtunes ,three it weakend the lords but one positive is it encouraged more trade between Europe and Asia.
There were many diasters that left people sick who having to fight for there lives. In Asia ,it became the Bubonic Plague . It spread through Europe through trade routes because most people didn't take baths and threw their garbage in the streets , it made more rats. The Jews were blamed for this because it came from their homes. 25 million Europeans died because of the Plague. The church lost it prestige.  There was a hundred year war in European, it started in 13337 to 1453. It was between the English and the French but the English won the three most important battles.
Another religion rose in Europe, Islam . They believe in one Gods called Allah. Islam spread through trade routes . Muhammad, who was orphaned at 6, claim at 40 he heard the voice of the angel Gabriel declaring him the messenger of God.  Their bibles is the Quran and they have five pilliars of Faith: faith, prayers, alms , fasting, and pilgrimage.  This caused jhiad between the christains and muslims. This is what I learned this sixth week.
